The Leaves are changing!! It is getting cooler. YEP!!!               It is deer hunting time folks! Log Creek should have some slammers this year.    KENTUCKY PECAN PIES

           (Makes two pies)

  1. 6 Eggs
  2. 2 cups of sugar
  3. 1/2 cup of melted butter
  4. 1 cup of light Kayro corn syrup

Mix above well. 2 pie crust in pie pans        put whole pecans on the bottom of the crust then add the above mixture. Pecans will rise to the top. Bake 1 hour on 325.

  ROBERT REDFORD (layered dessert)

Mix Together: 

  1. 1 cup of flour
  2. 1 stick of melted margarine
  3. 1 cup of chopped pecans

Press in the bottom of a 9 x 13 glass baking dish and bake for 15 minutes on 350. Remove from oven and it MUST COOL COMPLETELY!!           

Mix together:

  1. 1/2 Large Cool Whip (other 1/2 will be used on top)
  2. 1 cup of sugar
  3. 1 - 8 oz bar of cream cheese

Spread this on cooled crust

Mix together:

  1. 1 large package of instant vanilla pudding
  2. 1 large package of instant chocolate pudding
  3. 3 cups of milk

Beat until stiff and add to previous layer.

Spread rest of Cool Whip on the top and sprinkle with nuts.    Serve chilled - Best if made the day before.
